"It's not loaded, I have kids, I'm not stupid!"<BR/>One of the girls walked us to the door, I asked "Do you remember my name?"<BR/>"Sure I do!"<BR/>"Great, forget it" and then I pulled the door shut.<BR/>On the way home my Jeep's electrical system started to slowly shut down. A-la Apollo 13. And crapped out completely about a mile from Mike's house @ 4am. So he called the Woodridge PD, Dropped his dad's name and we got a free ride (in the back of a squad car) to Mike's house. Two ours later, at 8am, got Mike to give me a ride to the Enterprise office I run and from there I called a tow truck, rented a car (an F150, the only car left on the lot), got the car towed to the shop I take it to, and drove home to the city.<BR/>Yeah, my "night" didn't end until 10:30am Sunday.<BR/>A day later and $700 down the road I have my Jeep back.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
